Just a friendly date, right?
Part one-Day one- I don't have a date!
Hinata was walking towards her secret place, which was a beautiful waterfall, with a large pond at the bottom, and is surrounded by the vast Kohona forest. She had origanly planned on training, but her father insisted that she go somewhere she can relax for awhile since it was the last few days she would have off for awhile, and the last day being the day of the Kohona Fall carnival.
-flashback (2 hours ago)-
"Father, I-I'm headed to the training grounds," Hinata always got nervous around her father, and anybody for that matter.
"No, you must find a place to relax!" He demanded, making Hinata all the more nervous.
"B-But father... I.." Hinata stuttered
"No buts! I am ordering you to relax!" He shot out of his seat, slammed his open palm onto his desk, and pointed his index finger at his daughter. "And quit stuttering! It gets annoying after awhile!... geez..." He sat back down in his seat, crossed his armsover his chest, and started to tap his foot.
Hinatas' mouth was gaping. Not once has she ever seen her father act so...kind? No that’s not not the word.... weird was more acurate..."Y-yes...sir...?" she started to walk to her fathers office/meeting rooms' door, but kept looking back to make sure that her father wasn't laughing behind her back, and say that it was just a joke and for her to do 1,000 hindu squats before dinner (A/N for those of you who don't know, hindu squats are where to put your hands behind your head, and your legs are crossed while moving up and down in one quick movement. Now back to the story!) but her father never, giggled, snickered, or burst out laughing like she expected him to. Even after she opened and shut her fathers door, she never stopped listening for her father to to laugh and yell, 'Hinata come back here!' until she with in 3 feet of her front door and bolted out.
-End Flashback-
Hinata shook her head trying to get the strange thought out of her head. When she had finnaly reached her destination, she gasped in awe. Even though she had seen this place over 1,000 times before, it still took her breath away. She was at the top of the water fall staring down at the pond. 'Hm... I wonder what it's like... from a different perspective...' She eventually decided to focus some of her chakra into her feet and climbed a near by tree. She could not believe how much more beauty can be added to something just by looking at it differently. She suddenly began to cry. Realizing the true beauty of something reminded her of her long lost, but never forgotten, mother. She died of unknown causes, but even in her casket, she never lost the beauty she had had for all of those years. At a distance, you could say that Hinata and her mother were....twins. Hinata, who was still hanging in the tree, started to cry even harder than before, and began to sob and rub her eyes to get the ever-falling tears out of her lavender eyes.
-with Naruto-
Naruto was walking to the training grounds because, as everyone knows, Kakashi doesn't very often give breaks, but Naruto always knew that Kakashi would be late, and usually took Sasuke and Sakura to his secret place, but today Sasuke was on a Junnin level mission, Sakura had to work over time at the hospital, and Kakashi, like I said earlier, is always late. He dicided that he should go anyways, he had a funny feeling that something interesting would happen if he did. He focused some of his chakra into his feet, and with one giant leap, was jumping through the tree tops, searching for the irreplaceable scent of creek water.
-a few minutes later-
Naruto had finnaly caught the scent of creek water in the air and headed in it's direction, until he saw it. The Waterfall. He smiled one of his trademark grins, and jumped down from the trees. 'Aw man! I can't wait to climb my tree... huh...' He squints his eyes 'Who's that in my tree?!' He tiptoed up to the figure until he saw it was female then stopped and stared in awe at her back. He looked from her feet down (or up, depending on your perspective). Her, apparently loose pant legs had dropped to about her knees, showing her muscular, but not to muscular, legs, and her shirt had dropped down to about the midsection of her ribs revealing her thin waist. He moved down to the back of her head, and saw... whats this? He saw... tears? He finnaly got his mind off of her tears and noticed the strange color of her hair. A dark purple... 'Hmm... what a pretty hair color... wait.. PURPLE!! The only person I know that has purple hair is...' "Hinata?! What're you do-... Ah crud!!!!" Hinata turned around shocked and lost all focus of her chakra, causing her to start falling into the pond below.
Naruto began to run as fast as his chakra filled feet would carry him, and grabed the rims of her shoes. He looked down and saw Hinata's fear-and-tear-filled face and quickly pulled her back up, and cradled her in his arms. Hinata was still crying right then, but not as much. Either way, Naruto held her in his arms and gently cradled her back and forth whispering soothing words like "Shhhh... it'll be ok..." and "Don't worry..." and would wipe away her tears. Until she had completely stopped, Naruto didn't stop cradling her, and when she did, he still didn't let go. He just... stared into her eyes as she did the same to him.
'God... I never relized she had such.... beautiful eyes...makes you feel like... just falling in...' He thought while staring at her caringly.
'Wow.... what outragous saphire eyes.... makes you feel like you could.... swim in them...' She thought as she stared at him with her mouth in an 'o' shape the whole time.
When Narutos' right thumb stroked her cheek, they were brought out the trance, and both blushed deeply. Hinata was the first to react by jumping out Narutos' strong, but loose arms. Naruto then jumped up and rubs the back of his head. They both still had the deep blush on their faces.
"Uhmm.... I guess I was right..." Naruto said while avoiding eye contact with Hinata.
"About wh-what...? Naruto-k-kun...?" Hinata asked while shuffling her feet and poking her index fingers together.
"That something.... interesting would happen if I came here today." He asked while blushing an even deeper red remebering her slim figure in the tree.
"A-Ah... D-do you come here often...?" She asked while still shuffling her feet but letting her arms fall to her side.
"Y-yeah... well, when it's training day and... Kakashi's...always...late... oh my god! I'M gonna be late!" He started to run off when he suddenly stopped, catching Hinatas' attention "U-Uhm.... Hinata... W-would you like to come with me to... the uhmm... *gulp* the Kohona Fall carnival this weekend...?" He saw Hinata go wide eyed and started waving his hands infront of his face "I-I-I mean just as a friendly date! ‘Kay?"
Hinata was speechless just staring at him. Naruto sighed and started to walk away feeling like he had been rejected, but Hinata ran up to him and grabbed his shoulders and whispered in his ear "Y-yes... of course I-I-I would love to come.... but like you said..." she pulled away from his ear and spoke a little louder "Just as a friendly date, right?"
Naruto grinned "Yeah! Just as a friendly date!" He thought of Kakashi again and started to run off while yelling "See you tommorow! Kakashi is going to kill me with extra training! Bye!!" He focused some more chakra into his feet, leaving an excited, but very nervous Hinata. Her heart began to beat fast and she fainted.
-an hour later-
Hinata woke up and went to tell Kurenia what just happened and ask her what she should do.
-with Naruto-
'Hehehe... once I tell Kakshi about my date all he'll wanna do is help me get ready for it!' He grinned another one if his trade mark smiles and started to rush towards the training grounds.
